For six weeks long, the Key West Bight Marina (most commonly known as the island's Historic Seaport) bursts into the Holiday spirit with the Key West "Bight" Before Christmas Celebration. This Holiday festival begins on Thanksgiving Eve with the lighting of the Harbor Walk of Lights, a four-block stretch of the Harbor Walk along the Historic Seaport.
Guests can see colorful lights that wrap every imaginable structure - from the Key West Ferry Terminal to the edge of the marina. Nautical holiday displays, super-sized garland, and a Southernmost Christmas tree all add seasonal sparkle to the seaport’s landscape.
"Bight" Before Christmas events include a Holiday parade with floats, an appearance by Santa Claus, a tree-trimming party, a tour of local historic inns, a lighted boat parade, and a Holiday music concert. Throughout these six weeks, Holiday visitors can stroll through the harbor walk and discover shops and galleries of intriguing gifts, as well as eateries and watering holes that offer festive food and drinks.
